| MVSOA Annual Business Meeting
To All Referees,
Alright, I am 52 years old, and oddly enough, I
am one of the YOUNGER members on our Board
(actually, I'm on the advisory council and not the
board, but I include them too). As such. I
personally URGE you young (under 50) and upcoming
refs to become and stay involved with our
organization! This will all be yours some day, and
you don't want to be looking around wondering what
to do! Quit complaining, get involved now and make a
difference!
Marty Milush has the following announcement about
the upcoming Business Meeting we are having in
December. We elect officers, and talk about the year
to come. BE THERE!!!

FROM MARTY MILUSH:
The December 1, 2008 (7pm at Fitch High School,
second floor) monthly meeting will be the MVSOA
Annual Business Meeting. At this meeting we will be
electing officers for the High School Division of
the MVSOA. The offices are President, VP and
Secretary. If you want to nominate someone for any
of these offices or you are interested in being a
candidate for one of these offices, please contact
Joe Kuzma, Nomination Committee Chairperson by email
at
showtime1028@hotmail.com.
All nominees must be OHSAA officials and in good
standing with MVSOA. Only OHSAA officials in good
standing can vote for High School Division officers.
As well as the election of High School Division
officers, we will review other important topics
including but not limited to: USSF and Ohio North
new registration process; possible new location for
future meetings besides at Austintown Fitch High
School; voting results for OHSAA officials for 2009
tournaments; planned changes in the MVSOA Code of
Conduct.
You are encouraged to attend to vote and run for
office. We need more officials involved with the
operation of the MVSOA and you encouraged to become
more involved by running for office.
